Found our backup repository was completely full this morning, and the backups failed. We run Incremental, without synthetic fulls or periodic fulls.
I've already reduced the number of restore points to keep in the job, from 60 to 50. But doesn't Veeam still need space to complete a new Incremental before deleting the 10 restore points?
How do I remove old restore points without messing up the chain? Or just make room for a new Incremental to complete?

Re: Safely Delete Incremental VIBs?
Hi,
Check this blog post: https://www.svanbruggen.nl/veeam-manual ... re-points/
May be useful for your situation. I didn't test the instruction so please be careful about your backup data.

Re: Safely Delete Incremental VIBs?
This will not work in case of forever incremental, since there's nothing you can delete - there's just a single chain consisting of a full and subsequent increments. In this case you have no other choice than find a space for the job to complete somehow (check other jobs, for example, if they use other backup method).
