Sample schedule for backup and replication run same a system

In my case, I have 10 VM running on 3 host Esxi and 1 host for DR site with 10Gbs LAN connect btw sites. One of all VM have 2TB data and remain about 200GB~500GB. So can you help me run a sample the detail schedule for backup and replication? Because my understand backup jobs can't run same time with replication job on same VM?

It depends on your needs and available resources, so let's clarify a few things:
1. How often do you want to replicate VMs? (daily or a few times per day)
2. How many restore points do you need to retain?

You can't backup and replicate at the same time, you're right, but you can set up a copy job to the DR site and replicate from the backups in the remote repository without affecting production infrastructure.

DGrinev, I don't care about resource, just can do schedule continuous replicate VMs or as much as possible and daily backup.

You can set up backup job for all VMs daily out of working hours, at night, for example.
At the schedule tab for the continuously replication job you can set periodically every and choose continuously from the list, then press schedule button on the right and define hours when the replication would work. Thanks!

Veeam B&R will not perform both backup and replication of the same VM at the same time, it will wait for the current operation to complete prior to performing the next one over the same VM, if this is your concern.

Hi foggy, how about run each jobs on separate server? I mean 1 server for rep and 1 server for backup?

You can't run a job in parallel with another one for a single VM even if it will be performed on separate servers.
