scheduled notification via email
Hello,
is it possible to schedule an email-notification via smtp in 6.5?
During one of our backup jobs the smtp server is down and so the notification of success or failure will not be send.
I thought about a notification at a specific time, when all jobs are finished.
Thanks.
Regards
Chris

Hello, Chris. Did you have a chance to look at the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager? It provides the ability to send daily notification with the jobs summary (Configuration > Notifications).
Hope this helps.

Hello Foggy,
We only purchased the essential (standard) version of VEEAM, so I'm not sure to be able to use nor install the enterprise manager?
Is there any other idea?
Thanks.

Enterprise Manager is available in all Veeam B&R editions. Standard Edition just does not provide some advanced Enterprise Manager functionality (and e-mail notification is not in this list).

Hello Foggy,
Forget my previous message.
I just read the online documentation and saw that I'm able to install and use the enterprise manager (limited)
I found your mentioned setting, and configured it.
Thanks a lot for your answer
regards.
