Scheduling Question
Hello, sorry if this has been asked before but I am creating a tiered approach to my VM backup jobs. Tier 1 will have very few VM's (4 or 5) that I would like to schedule a backup to happen nightly like the other jobs, as well as around noon everyday to have a little better backup frequency. I'm struggling with figuring out the best way to do this in the scheduling portion of the job. Could I just choose backup periodically, choose 1 hour, and then only highlight midnight and noon on the schedule portion? I thought maybe that would work but didn't know what would happen if the backup didn't finish up in that window.

Re: Scheduling Question
Hi Josh, why not select to backup periodically every 12 hours? This will ensure the job starts at noon and midnight.

Re: Scheduling Question
With this method how would you be sure it ran at midnight and noon? What would keep it from running say at 3AM and 3PM?

Re: Scheduling Question
Reference point for every allowed interval is tied to midnight.
