[Feature Request] Security & Compliance Analyzer Shows Fix

Post by cgsm »

It would be great if the Security & Compliance Analyzer (v12.1, Best Practices in v12) showed instructions on how to fix each "not implemented" issue. Yes, I can search around on the web for how to fix each thing, but the information is usually poorly written, is for an old version of Windows, etc. It would be great if VBR said "do these steps to get this issue to 'pass'".

Hello,
does https://www.veeam.com/kb4525 help - the code is the instruction, but maybe "fix it" is good enough?

Best regards,
Hannes

@HannesK
That script is very helpful! Thank you!

I think it would be helpful if the KB was noted in the related user guide page (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120).

It would also still be nice if a "fix it" button was available in the GUI for each "not implemented" check to reduce the friction of having to open the user guide, find the page for the s&c analyzer, and implement each fix.

yes, there are conversations about a "fix it" button since some time. Let's see how it goes.

I will write the documentation team whether they can link the KB. Thanks!
