Selecting Windows 2016 build for Veeam server

Hi all,

We need to select a Windows 2016 build for a new Veeam environment.

Does Veeam recommend an updated 1607 install with support up until 2022 or an updated 1709 install with support up until later this year?
We will be using ReFS for storage.
