All,
I am about to re-build our Veeam Backup server to 2008 x64 (From 2003 32bit). Is their a process that I can follow to make this a seemless as possible?
I would like to (if possible) backup the existing database (SQL 2005) and then re-install Veeam on the new server and restore the database.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Richard

Re: Server Re-Build Process - 2003 to 2008 x64
Hello Richard,
Yes, you can achieve that by backing up your existing database, then moving it to the new server and installing Veeam Backup and Replication pointing to the newly attached DB, this procedure will save all your configurations for the jobs, so you could continue using it.
Thank you!
