Service not running
Hi,
after updating to Windows 8.1 (64bit) i am getting this message
"Veeam Baclup and Replication Service is not running. Please start the servive and click Retry."
Veeam 6.5
Any hints for me? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to go to the “Services” (services.msc) and start corresponding services manually? Also, Windows 8.1 might be the issue, since it hasn’t been tested as an operating system for VB&R 6.5 management server.

thanks for your fast reply. Yes, I tried, but It tell me "1069", no rights. Could this be as the credentials changed fro a local account to the MS Live account? And if yes, how can I configure them in veeam? Thanks.

Under what account this service is executed? Has these credentials updated recently (password has changed, for instance)? If so, specify the most up-to-date password in “Under this account” section and see whether it helps or not.

You change the service account in "Services" (services.msc), not in Veeam.
