Service provider option not available in backup infrastrukture section

Hallo everyone,

we are planning to use Cloud Connect and are gathering information about it.
I found that there should be an option to "find service providers" about the Veeam Backup and Replikation Software. As I read I should be able to add a service provider in my backup infrastructure but this options doens't exist.

Now I am a little afraid that our license (Backup & Replication Standard) does not include this feature even though I read that it should.
Or do I have to enable another option / install something additional to display this option in the backup infrastrukture section?

Hi,

Do you have any virtual infrastructure already set up in the B&R console? The service provider node in the UI is available to all editions, except for the Community and Starter, so you should have it.

Oh, my bad...
Just found out that our license is "Backup Starter".
Guess that we need another license to use Cloud Backup, right?
Is there a way to upgrade the starter license to essentials or do we have to pay the whole price for essentials?

Yes, you should have a higher edition to be able to use Veeam service providers. I'm pretty sure there should be a way to migrate to Essentials, but this question is for Veeam sales reps (the team behind these forums are not involved in sales operations). Thanks!
