We have 2 VM with AD based on Windows Server 2012 (SQL on these machines is not installed):
What settings to use when selecting "Enable application-aware processing":
- "Require successful processing" or "Try application processing, but ignore failures"?
- "Process Transaction logs with this job" or "Perform copy only"?

Re: Settings for backup of Active Directory virtual machines
If you want to be sure you have consistent restorable backup of DC, then the first setting is recommended.roms wrote:- "Require successful processing" or "Try application processing, but ignore failures"?
Transaction logs handling is supported for SQL and Exchange only, so no need to touch these settings.roms wrote:- "Process Transaction logs with this job" or "Perform copy only"?
