Hi,
when I start installing Backup & replication on Windows 10, at the step 'Choose SQL server instance', I get the message that Microsoft.SQLServer.smo, Version 12.0.0.0 or one of the dependencies is missing. I installed the most recent updates for SQL server.
Does someone knows if I possibly forgot a prerequisite that could cause this?

Hi, Wannes. Our setup wizard has an option to install pre-requisites automatically, be sure to use that (you will see the corresponding button). If you still get an error after that, please contact our Customer Support, as this is not a known issue. Another option would be to do a clean Windows install. Our setup is guaranteed to work with that, as this is how we test the product ourselves. Thanks!
