setup dropbox or google drive on veeam B&R
Hi,
i am new to Veeam B&R and i have the 30 day trial of the full version. I would like to set it up to run a backup to my dropbox, or google drive, to see how it would work; but, i can't seem to find how to set it up.
Any help on how to set it up, would be appreciated.

You need to add a Dropbox local folder as a backup repository.

I understand that part, i have already added a few local folder and servers using IP. But, i am confused on what do i need to add in the case of dropbox or google drive?
Like:
once in "add repository", what do i select as a type?
then, when it says "add new server by dns or ip" what do i enter? http://www.dropbox.com ; google drive website ? etc.

Create a repository in Veeam on a local disk, then go into Dropbbox or Google Drives client and also add that folder there so it will sync it.
Veeam doesn't have native support to use those products as cloud repositories

Dave has this correct:
Create a folder under the Dropbox / Google Drive folder such as the following:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Google Drive\backups
Create a backup job and select the newly created repository.
I'd wager that while you’re going to successfully transfer some data to the file syncing service although given what the services are designed for you’re not going to have much success even in the short term. If you need to get Veeam Backups off site a Veeam Cloud Connect Partner or building your own infrastructure at a second site is what you should be considering.

Right, you just add it as a Windows type repo and let Dropbox sync files stored there. In addition to what Steven's said, here's a post outlining some other advantages of Cloud Connect over services like Dropbox.
