[SOLVED] Sharepoint Explorer - Error

Post by frankive »

Hi,
I get this error when i try to mount a Sharepoint 2010 site on my Veeam Backup Server:
Specified database is not a supported SharePoint content database.

When i run the veeam explorer it justs a few mins to attached the database 100%, but end up with a blank window. The error message with not support sharepoint content database is found in the Veeam log.

Backup Server:
Veeam 7 patch #4
Full 2012 SP1 sql standard version.
2012 R2 OS

Original Sharepoint version is running on 2008 R2 SQL server on the original VM

Hi Frank,

Please include support case ID when posting about any technical issues with the product on these forums, as requested when you click New Topic. How many SharePoint sites do you have? Do you see the same error message for all of them?

Thanks!

Hi.
I have just got the same issue on another installation too.
2008 R2 with sharepoint 2010. (Free edition)

standard 2008 r2 sql.

Is there something obvious I am missing here?

I actually went into the sharepoint server itself and it seems it is a Sharepoint Server 2007, not support by Veeam.
That explain the error message that says it is not support. I got the wrong information from the IT-consultant.

Soory about this.
