SharePoint Explorer Log
Hello,
I have a question about the Veeam SharePoint Explorer.
Is there a way to show if someone open a file from the SharePoint backup? In the history of the restore I can only see if the person saved or restored a document.
PS: This is my first post here, so if you need more informations tell me please.
Thanks for your feedbacks.

Re: SharePoint Explorer Log
Manuel, I believe only restore and export operations are tracked in Veeam B&R history. Other operations can only be viewed in the log files.

Re: SharePoint Explorer Log
Hi Alexander,
Thanks for your answer.
I found in the SharePointExplorer logs only when a file was saved, but not when I only open a file. Do you know if we need a greater log level (now we have AboveNormal) or I have to look to another log file?
Thanks for your answer.

Hi Manuel,
Not sure this information is logged somewhere, but let me check it with the devs on Monday.
Thanks!

Re: SharePoint Explorer Log
The QA team has confirmed that we currently don't log information about opening SharePoint files. Thanks.

Re: SharePoint Explorer Log
Hi,
Just a quick one... Where is this log too - Is there a specific area in C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup?
I've got an issue where I cannot restore a file because the account I'm using cannot connect to SharePoint Server and I need to check the log for details.. alas I cannot find the log.

Hi Steph and welcome to the Veeam community!
You should find the logs by following the path: ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\SharePointExplorer\Logs.
Thanks!
