Sharepoint site restore of a deleted site

Hi Veeam Community,

I am evaluating Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Sharepoint. Site Restore in general works well if the site is not deleted upfront. In the latter case I get an error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
Is this an limitation of Sharepoint Explorer or am I missing something?

Hi Daniel, yes, this behavior is expected. The site should exist prior the restore.

thanks for the quick reply. Could you recommend a restore method for a previously deleted site? Generating an empty site with the same name didn't work.

Creating an empty site with the same name should help. Please contact support for a closer look.
