Hello,
by doing many full backups of a Windows file server, many vbk of 2-4 TB were generated during 3 years. Some of these are generated with different setting of compression and block size and inline deduplication. Also different versions von Veeam have been used. So they are not deduplicating as expected on a deduplicating storage.
First I would like to read out the settings of the vbk. The best would be a Linux command line tool. How to do this, please?
Second I would like to convert each vbk to a new vbk with new settings of compression, block size and inline deduplication. How can I do this, please?
Regards

Re: Show and Change vbk Settings
Hello,
The vbk could be restored to an empty system and then a new backup could be performed. But this is quite IO intensive. Is there any Backup Copy Job that could performe the task?

Re: Show and Change vbk Settings
Hello,
perhaps it can be done with a "Active Full Backup Copy" Job. Is there a possibility to run this from command line including src and target file. Is it possible to give a path to file on a linux repository?
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=50 or with power shell commands?
