Hi there
Recently set up Veeam, initially set up a replication job for each server timed to run 30 minutes after each other.
However, obviously due to how some days there can be large data changes on the servers the jobs start to overlap and I've had a few instances of "Hot add is not supported for this disk, failing over to network mode..." which from looking appears to be an issue with traffic on the disk controllers.
Would it be better to create a single job with all the servers in? (Actually 2 jobs as some servers we only need to backup once a week).
Thanks

Re: Single jobs vs bulk job
John, I would assume that these errors are not connected with jobs overlapping as in v6 (btw, are you on v6?) jobs overlapping is managed automatically.
There are a number of limitations (put by VMware vStorage API) that prevent hot add mode to be used in some cases (please refer to this KB article). If you can identify and remove the reason, then hotadd should start working. Otherwise, please open a support case for investigation. Thanks!
