What is the best method for using a SnapServer XRS40 for backup storage?
File shares, iSCSI initiated from proxy server, Linux Direct attached storage repository?
I'm looking to get the best performance of backups going to storage.
Thanks..
Mark

Re: SnapServer as Backup Repository
Hi Mark,
I believe Linux machine with directly attached storage will give better performance because target Data Mover will be running directly on the Linux server. I'd suggest to check the list of requirements for Linux repository. Also, you may refer to this best practices guide.
Thanks!
