SOBR - Change to Data Locality

Hello Everybody

What happens if I change the placement policy from performance to data locality? Will Veeam start an Active Full on the next run or will the change happen over time with keeping the actual Fulls on one Extend and adding the new Incrementals on the same Extend wile the old incrementals will be merged over time (we do always incremental backups)?

Hello Unbreakable,

In this case, VBR will not create a full backup and will continue the active backup chain, but in accordance with the new backup placement policy.
