I have just setup a backupjob with a SQL-server.I
The job will copy the log files every 15 min.
Sql server is set to FULL on the databases and application aware processing with truncating is enabled.
My qeustion;
how do Veeam copy the files every 15 min.? Will it create a snapshot on my Hp Lefthand san or just just plain file copy from a share?

Frank, please review how transaction logs backup works in detail. Hope this answers your question. Thanks.

Re: sql backup of logfiles
No snapshots are created. Veeam B&R just copies the log backup files backed up by native SQL Server log backup process (which does not use any snapshots either).
