SQL DB corruption after restore

Good day,

Last week I ran into issues with restoring a VM (SQL) the restore completed successfully but SQL showed multiple databases as offline. I managed to restore the same VM from an earlier restore point. As a test I ran a restore again with the "bad" restore point to verify if the issue was related to corrupt DBs....

The restore came back as clean all DBs are online.


My question is could veeam cause issues during the restore that potentially corrupted SQL dbs?

Hi, Nikolas. I can only suspect issues with your production storage (data corruption). Only this can possibly result in such inconsistent behavior. Thanks!
