SQL DB Restore Enterprise manager duplicate DB names

I'm wondering if anyone can give their input on removing duplicate DB entries in Enterprise Manager? When selecting the duplicate DB listed we receive "Database was not found."
I have a good guess as to why there are duplicates.

We backed up a SQL production server a certain way for testing. Once we were done with testing we deleted the job and deleted the data from our backup repository.
We then added this SQL server to an existing job that has been backing up.

I'm guessing the duplicate is because of the first job setup and this is contained in the history even though the data is gone.

The steps to recreate the issue are:
Enterprise manager>Items>SQL Databases
Click "or pick server..." link
Select the SQL server in question.
All DBs are listed including the duplicates.
Select one of the duplicates and the error will pop up.

Hi Tony, have you tried to rescan the repository and then perform data collection in EM? If this doesn't help, please contact tech support.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't make a difference. I'll open up a support ticket on this.

Support clarified: EM uses the setting Guest File System Catalog. When it reaches the time frame we should no longer see the duplicate DBs.
