SQL Server Aware processing showing databases as excluded

I've sort of inherited a Veeam backup system so still trying to get to grips with everything but I'm struggling to find an answer on this one. If I check the SQL Server Transaction Log Backup Report it will show certain databases as "Excluded" under status but I have no idea why. If I look at the section under Application Aware processing under Exclusions it shows Disabled which I take to mean there are no exclusions for any of these SQL Servers but it seems every job that includes a SQL server doing application-aware processing seems to have some of these Databases listed as excluded.
