Hello All,
I did have a "windows problem" in my Veeam Backup server (physical) and I had to start Windows 2008R2 in SAfe mode and restart from " last known good configuration" ....
The problem is Veeam didn't want to start so I did uninstall Veeam.
Now i am trying to install again and when I get to the point where you have to do the SQL Server Instance. Everything is graued out and It show a server and instance (that doesn't work)...
Is there anyway to force the installer to " Install a new instance of SQL Server" ?
I even try to uninstall SQL Express (I guess that's what the Veeam install did install previously, but it is not under Add/Remove programs or a a Feature/Role.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Re: SQL Server instance in Install
Sorry guys,
I found the answer to my own question.
run CCcleaner
and then get rid of the last registry entries for Veeam...
Reinstalled now and it's working fine.
thanks
