Sql Server restore takes too long?
Hi all,
I've done a restore of a database (about 6.5Gb).
It takes about 5 hours to complete over a 1gbps network.
Is that normal?

Can you share more information about infrastructure and the version of Veeam you are using.

Hi,
Veeam 9.5U2, restoring from a vm to another vm on the same cluster, using a nas as repository for backup (connected to the same switch virtual infrastructure is connected).
We choose "restore state to" option, so full restore in place from latest backup

Please can you try to upload any file (about 6 - 10 GB) from the NAS to the datastore hosting your SQL server and share the stats of the performance.
This would help us to understand where the potential issue is. Thanks!

what kind of problem did you had ? we encounter the same long times to restore.

The OP had a network issue. You can do the test that Dmitry said above and see if it is a network issue. If not, feel free to open a support case and add the support case ID and follow-up here
