Folks,
We have two Oracle backup jobs with corresponding Redo Log backups. The main job runs once a day, and the Redo Log backups run 24/7. What is the recommended way to stop such a job if I, for example, want to restart the backup server? Or is it not possible to stop the Redo Log backups? Should I just simply restart the backup server and think nothing of it?

Disable the backup job... Now, why didn't I think of that? Thanks!
