Hello,
We are upgrading Veeam Backup from 12.0 to 12.1 and we need to make correct predictions related to disk space. We also want to start applying the 3-2-1 rule and immutable backups while we proceed with the upgrade. We have 10 GB RAM and 600 GB HDD available at the moment and backup 4 VMs weekly. We need to know approximately how much storage we need to add to save backups monthly instead of weekly in order to not have storage issues in the future.

Re: Storage needed for upgrade
Hello Rexhina
For the upgrade you only require 20-30GB of free space on the disk where Veeam Backup & Replication is installed.
For immutable backups you will require a dedicated server with Linux, object storage or a supported deduplication appliance.
Please use our calculator to make an estimation of how much storage you will need. For immutable backups, plan with a dedicated physical server with locally attached disk and make sure to enable ReFS/XFS in the calculator.
