Hi all,
We're just configuring up a test setup in our lab environment. This will transition to reduction when happy. Its all new hardware and we currently use veeam to backup or current sent up.
Server 2022
RAID1 C: for OS
RAID6 D: for veeam backup storage
This D: is formatted reFS with 64k blocks. Am i ok enabling Microsoft Deduplication on this volume? Looking at the documentation, i think i'm getting confused with Veeam's inbuilt dedup and MS volume based dedup.
Is MS dedup even supported?
If there's any error in my ways please feel free to tell me. Best to correct at this stage i guess
Cheers all

Re: Storage repos with MS Deduplication enabled
Hi, there are many existing discussions about Microsoft deduplication, please use search before creating new topics - as they will be locked as duplicate anyway. In short, it's not recommended that you enable Microsoft deduplication. Thanks
