Storage Snapshot not getting deleted

I'm using Netapp as my storage and I'm running storage snapshot in Veeam. I noticed the snapshots are not getting deleted after the expiration date. I tried manually deleting the storage snapshot from VSphere console as Veeam support suggested but that also failed. I talked to VMware and they said the files are locked by Veeam. We tried deleting it using cli but it said that files are "read only" . Any additional help is appreciated. Thank you.

When I tried to delete from NetApp System Manager, I can delete the Veeam storage snapshot. Veeam support is telling me that the logs shows Veeam is sending the command to delete to NetApp but it's still not deleting it. I'm not sure what else to try to troubleshoot where the issue is. Any help is appreciated.

For future readers - according to the ticket number changing the retention policy and triggering rescan with manual snapshots creation procedure have solved the issue.
