Hi Guys.
We have a storage space of 70TB using spinning disks with 2x SSD cache drives.
We are finding on copy jobs where it's reading and writing to the storage space they are going quite slow. I've done a few of these setups and this is the first one I've really run into an issue with, so just trying to see what people suggest.
I can see memory is being filled, then the ssd cache drives are being filled, then it's stopping the job to write. Good example is here https://i.imgur.com/lzLADCM.png this happens with the cache is flushing to disk.
Is there a way to configure this better?

Re: Storage Space issues with copy jobs
Hello,
first, the result you see look pretty expected to me when I think of storage spaces direct.
But you say, that you use storage space (without "direct"). So I'm interested in the details of your setup. Are you using storage tiers as described in this article? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archiv ... rage-space
Best regards,
Hannes

A proven setup is a proper RAID controller with cache + REFS.Is there a way to configure this better?
Best regards,
Hannes
