Successful Empty Backups/Replications

Post by marioarce »

Has anyone experienced such a thing?
One replication job with multiple VMs suddenly turned up empty (no Virtual Machines to protect) but the schedule continued to run hourly.
We have Veeam ONE report for current week and prior week status. The status shown in reports is "Successful" but the "Backed up VMs" column shows "0". We failed to spot this.
Is there any Veeam ONE report or any kind of Veeam B&R alert that can address this issue? Empty jobs.

Thanks

Can you elaborate on the root cause that led to this behaviour? Someone has added VMs to the exclusion list or similar? Thanks!
