Successful usage reporting doubles no of workloads?

Hi there,

during the upgrade/installation process there's a box to tick "Update license automatically (enables usage reporting)".

This should also "double the number of workloads you can exceed your installed license key by" if successful.

- How does this work? Does it simply double the number of workloads whether they are VMs, physical machines or file to tape?

- Does this go for the community edition also?

Hello Thorsten

It means you can exceed your license and still do backups of new workloads. How much is explained in our user guide:

No, community edition is limited to 10 workloads. No exceeding possible.
