We have recently decided to change our Exchange set up and split our databases up into individual volumes. Due to the amount of databases, we are going to use Volume Mount Points. We are using Hyper-V and the VHDXs have been created and attached to the guest appropriately. The Volume Mount Points have been put into a folder in the C: drive at C:\MountPoints. We have had some issues backing up ever since, which we are working on. I just want to be sure Volume Mount Points are supported before going down some other routes.
We are using B&R 9.0.0.1491, FYI.

Re: Support for Volume Mount Points?
Charlie, generally mount points shouldn't pose any issues. Provided Hyper-V VSS Framework is able to prepare the guest OS for backup, everything should be fine. So please contact technical support with any particular issue you're seeing.

Re: Support for Volume Mount Points?
We use mount points for our Exchange environment and can backup/restore without issues. Our mount points are on a separate drive than the OS drive, wonder if that's not your issue?
