Support of Backup from Storage Snapshots on Dell PowerVault hardware

Hello,

We are looking to purchase a Dell PowerVault ME4024 for use as a Datastore for VMware vSphere.

We are planning to use the Backup from Storage Snapshots feature. We have not found any information about support for this feature in Dell PowerVault hardware.

Could you please let us know if Backup from Storage Snapshots is supported on Dell PowerVault hardware.

We don't provide snapshot integration with Dell PowerVault systems.

Besides those systems you can use storage plugins together with our Universal Storage API. You can find supported systems (PowerMax, Powerstore, SC Series) from Dell in our user guide: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ed-systems

Storage plugins are build by the vendor of the storage appliance. If you like to have an integration for Dell PowerVault with Veeam, you can reach out to Dell and ask them if they have something on their roadmap.
