Hoping someone can lend some thoughts on how to troubleshoot a simple powershell script I am attempting to run in a SureBackup job.
All I am simply attempting to do is run a powershell script on the vm as part of the steps to specify a different DNS server on the NIC. The steps in the SureBackup job on the VM shows the script ran "Ok", but when I login to the VM to check the DNS settings, the DNS servers were not updated. I can run the script manually just fine in the VM without issue.
Has anyone ran into a similar scenario to where the custom script shows is ran successfully in the job steps but in the end it didn't? How do you go about troubleshooting to get the script to work?
Thanks!

Re: SureBackup custom script troubleshooting
Hello,
the script defined in an application group runs on the backup server. I assume that's the issue.
I always to troubleshooting by writing data to c:\surebackup.txt (for example a whoami and date)
Best regards,
Hannes
