Surebackup Job - failures and job collisions?

Post by davidb1234 »

If I have a surebackup job running for replicas in v7 what happens if a replication job for one of those VMs kicks off while? What about the opposite? What if a surebackup job starts while a replication is running?

Also, is there any way to make the surebackup job continue on and not bomb out if a single VM fails?

David, SureBackup job will stop when replication job starts and will not start until the replication job is over. More information on this can be found here.

If you use linked jobs instead of application group, the Surebackup job will continue to process other VMs.
