SureBackup job is throwing an Invalid configuration for device '0' error.

I'm trying to spin up a lab for some sandbox testing. I've built out the lab, app group and SureBackup job. Every time I try to start the job, I get this:

Error: Invalid configuration for device '0'.

The application group only includes one VM. I am trying to configure this with a distributed switch in VMware.

I have opened a support case: 04029893. Thought I'd reach out and see if anyone else has seen this issue.

But the case was closed with "no response".

I assume that you already tested with a normal vSwitch? To continue with support, they need logs (full log bundle for one day is fine instead of the specific job log. support will figure out)

changes are high that you ran into a known bug. please check with support for ID 212648

Thanks for the response, I will check with them. I do think my issue falls in line with the one you found, however, even though I've configured it to leave the group up when the job finishes, it doesn't actually keep them up since it never successfully finishes. If it did, I could modify the port group for that vNIC, which I suspect is the problem. Secondly, since it goes down, the logs don't generate, I get an error each time I try to run the logs, as though it's trying to find the VM that it shutdown and unpublished.

I just upgraded to Veeam 10 (including re-deploy of my virtual labs). After this I get the exact same problem with my SureBackup jobs.
Everything else is working fine.
