I am trying to add a new virtual NIC to a SureBackup virtual lab.
The corresponding production network is 10.236.4.0/22, which translates to 1024 addresses; the ip address in the isolated network is 10.236.4.1 with netmask 255.255.252.0.
How can I set an appropriate masquerade ip address for this isolated network? The wizard proposes 10.255.252.D, which looks like a C class with 256 addresses only.

Re: Surebackup: masquerading a /22 network?
I should add that in the past, with previous VBR versions, I had been able to trick the wizard somehow to accept a B class address as the masquerade ip address by editing the netmask as the last thing before clicking next.
For example, another vNIC has ip address 10.1.0.1, netmask 255.255.252.0, and masquerade address 10.19.C.D.
The various VBR updates kept this setting, but I cannot edit it anymore, nor can I create a new vNIC with a setting alike.

Re: Surebackup: masquerading a /22 network?
It actually works like you describe:
Wizard proposes 10.255.252.D, but netmask for this connection is the same as netmask for your production one.
So all addresses from 10.255.252.1 to 10.255.255.254 get into the masquerade network for that case.
