surebackup ping not successfully

Dear all
Hi

i run surebackup job and select ping , heartbeat for check but just heartbeat was successfull is that enough or ping also is important ?

It seems the VM didn't get an IP so we skipped the ping test. If you want to be 100% sure you can use the VM after a restore it would be best to check why the VM didn't get an IP (maybe u didn't congigure this or are you using DHCP and the server couldn't reach it?).

However if you are using DHCP for example and the DHCP server is not in the virtual lab this test will be skipped. If you are aware of this then the behaviour is ofcourse normal.

i don't have dhcp server and not use dhcp also diable dhcp in virtual lab config the reason is for that ?

If you are using static IP's and no IP was given then further investigation is needed. Best would be to contact support and ask for more information why it didn't happen.

now i see edit setting of vm that it create on vm there is not any network adapter why it don't create any nic card ?
