We are trying to run a SureBackup job and Veeam creates the pool and proxy appliance fine but when we start the job it powers on the appliance and that is it. We get an error saying the process has timed out waiting for the proxy appliance to respond. The Veeam server and the ESX host we are testing with are on different vlans but there isn't anything blocking traffic between them.
Any ideas?

Hello Dale,
It's hard to tell what might be the problem without seeing additional information from surebackup job log. By the way, are you able to ping proxy appliance from the backup console? If you do, then I recommend contacting our technical team for log review assistance.
