Question 1:
Have a surebackup job with two vNics. When the job runs, it only creates a masquerade IP for the address associated with one of the vNics. I can ping that address from Veeam and between the servers. The other address, which is the one I actually need to make everything run properly, doesn't work at all. Why isn't the job creating masquerade IPs for both vNics?
Question 2:
Windows 2008 server in Surebackup. Everything runs properly in the Surebackup job. It is not on the same vlan as the Veeam server.
When I added a second server that matched the settings of the servers in question 1 to see if there was any connectivity, it failed the ping test to one IP address. That IP address happens to be on the network that didn't get a masquerade and is the same as the vLan for the Veeam server.
Servers come up and show a connection to the network but cannot ping each other.
vLan I need to work is the same as my production network/vlan.

Re: Surebackup questions
Hank, hard to answer your questions without seeing the actual vlab configuration, so I recommend to contact technical support for configuration review. Our engineers will also be able to review SureBackup job log files, if required.

Re: Surebackup questions
We've been working on this for two days straight. I'm going to replicate clean copies this weekend and contact support next week.
