SUSE 12 - Linux credential error

Hi,

we receive this error testing linux credential:

06/06/2017 17:57:26 :: Checking Linux credentials Error: User authentication failed.

Using the same account (wheel group) with a putty session I login successfully.

Which can be the error?

Hello Bart,

I've not share because maybe it has been my error: I've forgotten to set the PasswordAuthentication parameter to yes.

The problem is that I have never found a section on Veeam KB spoken about ssh user permissions, it's only specified to install mlocate.

For example, in my experience, I ever have to set ALL=NOPASSWD parameter into Ubuntu VM.

I'm not Linux expert, but I think more Veeam KB/helpcenter details could help all of us!
