Hey all,
I just got a Synology DS3018xs to use as a repository for our Veeam Backups. Wondering if I should use iSCSI or NFS? I understand if I use iSCSI, I can use ReFS and gain the benefits of that. However, it appears that NFS performance is better (maybe much better?) than iSCSI on the Synology (based on posts and videos by others).
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Synology DS3018xs Backup Repository Options?
Hello, from Veeam perspective you always want to use iSCSI with ReFS or XFS volume, no doubt about it. NFS will not be even in the same league. Thanks!
