I'm wondering if this scenario is viable:

We have a system (Virtual server) that we need to keep as is for another 5 years... Financial data from an old system that has to be available for 7 years total. Is it possible to do a backup and keep the image for the next 5 years?

I ask only because I'm not seeing this explicitly in the documentation...
