We are currently evaluating the Free Edition of Veeam, Backup and Replication.
In the evaluation guide the is the section for Veeam ?Backup and Replication Console, in which the system requirements
state there is a need for SQL server and support is indicated up to MS SQL server 2012.
Our company uses MS SQL server 2014 as the preferred database platform. We will be ok using this version of SQL server or not?

Spencer, Microsoft SQL Server 2014 is fully supported in Veeam B&R v8. I believe evaluator's guide has not just been updated yet.

Yes, it is always better to review system requirements on the Release Notes document for the latest update. I have just asked our technical writers team to update this section in our guides.
