Tapatalk support

Hi guys,
this is more a forum enhancement request than directly related to Veeam software. I recently discovered this software:

and even if I haven't tested it (no trial available on ipad) sound a cool way to have faster to the forums while on the road.
Have you ever considered to add Tapatalk support to Veeam forums, since they run on phpBB?

Hi Luca - we have definitely evaluated this possibility about 1 year ago, but did not proceed due to some security issues (I don't remember specifics).

Hi,
I just wish Veeam forum can be read through smartphones and interacting with the threads more convenient through mobile's.

Love to see such a great forum feature where we can stay available, reply to threads by replying to the same email sent for the subscription, etc.. Etc....

If its so difficult or time consumption to develop such an app, integration with TapaTalk can do the job as well.

+1 one for this , not sure if it is worth checking if the issue has been resolved? I browse the forums a lot from my Nexus 4 , but tapatalk support would really make it easier.

Ive just checked and it's also not working at the moment; probably a temporary problem.
However I'm not using Tapatalk anymore after reading their privacy policy

Sorry folks - not so good news for some of you, but we had to drop Tapatalk due to very few people actually using it and at the same time huge overhead of supporting one. We are planning to roll out a mobile-friendly forum theme instead.

I understand your reasons, but I'm very sorry, because I find tapatalk a truly useful platform for mobile devices. I'm waiting for new mobile forum.

While we all wait, I've tested briefly Forum Talker, it's free on the Google Play store. Not as powerful as tapatalk as it has no push notifications, it's more about converting the forum in a phone readable view , but it does the work for now

As far as I know, forum engine update that will have the mobile template is still planned, but I can't provide any ETA.
