The waiting interval for preparing a shadow copy

I read this article. I set the timeout of 14400000 ms - 4 hours. But in the backup report the timeout is 1800 seconds, i.e. 30 minutes.

so this proves that, the hard limit is at 30 minutes.
May i ask, why you need such a long amount of time ?

VSS does not have time to prepare the backup. The server is running SQL Server.

Have you restarted the Veeam Backup Service after changing the registry value?
