Time Remaining Indicator on Real-Time View

Post by J1mbo » Jun 27, 2011 2:57 pm

Hi,

It appears to me that the above field is calculated based on the job average rather than the VM average throughput? And also that is is truncated to hours only.

To me it seems that the accuracy of this could be much better, especially in the case that a VM has been added to a replication job otherwise running via CBT, by basing the estimate on the average throughput being attained for the specific VM being replicated. And also, sometimes this could be more than 24 hours.

Many thanks!

Hi James,

There are two panes where you can observe time remaining statistics (one is for entire job, another one is for VMs being processed), however job related indicators are still affected by VM average throughput.

Anyway, I agree that this should be improved, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Thanks.
