Hello,
We are seeing too many connetions from Veeam Server to an external SQL Server Enteprise 2017 (configuration database) , this is not a normal behavior..
What can be causing this?

Re: Too many SQL connections
Hello,
can you define "too many" and what is your support case number?
Thanks,
Hannes

Re: Too many SQL connections
Hi Claudio!
Please provide us with a case number.
However, I'm wondering what is the impact because of these opened connections? Do you notice some performance issues?
How many jobs are you running in parallel, by the way?
I wouldn't say that this behavior is not normal as long as you run many jobs simultaneously:
For example, each job manager (process which is created when you start a job) interacts with configuration database to get properties of different objects or to update an object state in the database.
Thanks!
