Total Throughput Increase

Good Day,

I have 1 VBR using iSCSI Direct SAN access to 5 HP Lefthand SANs.
The SAN traffic is all on a local switch working well.
The VBR server has 4 x 1 Gb and each SAN has 2 x 1 Gb NIC.

I would like to be able to access multiple SANs at 1Gb each.
I don't need to be able to access 1 SAN greater than 1Gb.

I was hoping I could team 2 NICs and run 2 jobs to achieve 2 streams of 1Gb each.
This does not work, and as I have read should not.

Will MPIO achieve this? Or just allow multiple streams to the same SAN?
